About TMS Therapy

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain regions linked to mood regulation. The FDA cleared it for depression in 2008 and for OCD in 2018. The treatment requires no sedation or anesthesia — you are alert throughout, and you leave the clinic the same way you arrived.

A standard course of treatment is 36 sessions over approximately six weeks, five days a week. Sessions run about 20 minutes. The iTBS protocol brings that down to 3.5 minutes per session.
